Some theatres require a stage. Others begin with a horse suspended among the stars.

The Theatre of Archetypes originates in an Atelier MHB collage series exploring symbolic figures, theatrical objects and the strange space between ornament, memory and imagined mythology.

Across the two sides of the compact, two related scenes unfold. On the front, dark celestial horses move through a deep teal sky among pale clouds, golden stars, pearls and tassels, gathered around an elaborate jewelled ornament. On the reverse, a solitary black apple appears against the same dark ground, dressed with stars, pearls and pale blue tassels — an emblem that feels at once familiar and slightly ceremonial.

The original Atelier MHB collages are reproduced across the finely textured surface of the compact, preserving their deep teal and midnight blue, antique gold, pearl white, muted blue and jewel-green details.

Created as a small art object to carry with you, rather than an ordinary accessory.

CARE

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and prolonged contact with water. Keep closed when carrying to protect the mirrors.
