The Bird Family belongs to Le Cabinet des Curiosités by Atelier MHB — a collection of imagined specimens, portraits and objects assembled somewhere between natural history and theatre.

Two birds inhabit a pale blue botanical world of tangled branches, pearls, keys and golden cages. A lemon hangs heavily between them while a strand of pearls travels through the composition, connecting one small mystery to another. Tiny figures appear inside the cages, as though fragments of another story have been caught among the leaves.

The original Atelier MHB collage is reproduced on velvet, giving the soft blue ground, botanical greens, black plumage and antique gold details a tactile depth that changes subtly with the light.

Created as an art object for the interior, rather than conventional decorative bedding.

CARE

Turn inside out before washing. Gentle cold wash. Do not bleach. Air dry or tumble dry on the lowest setting. Do not iron directly over the printed surface.
