Every cabinet keeps one creature whose history was never properly recorded.

The Heron belongs to Le Cabinet des Curiosités by Atelier MHB — a collection of imagined specimens, portraits and objects assembled somewhere between natural history and theatre.

Framed like a ceremonial portrait, the bird appears in improbable plumage: a crown of flowers, a strand of pearls and an argyle pattern hidden among its feathers. Human hands enter the composition from beyond the frame, leaving the question deliberately unresolved — is this a specimen being observed, a character being dressed, or the keeper of the cabinet itself?

The original Atelier MHB collage is reproduced on velvet, giving the saturated plum, antique gold and botanical greens a soft, tactile depth.

Created as an art object for the interior, rather than conventional decorative bedding.

CARE

Turn inside out before washing. Gentle cold wash. Do not bleach. Air dry or tumble dry on the lowest setting. Do not iron directly over the printed surface.
